Program Content:

This Looking for a career in security services? Consider this exciting field. Apply for a Class D Private Security Officer license upon completion of this 40 hour training program.

The program offers coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Law, Public Safety and Security career cluster. It also provides technical skill proficiency and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills and knowledge of all aspects of the Law, Public Safety and Security career cluster.


PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

In addition to the information provided in the link above, you MUST also be a Citizen or Legal Resident Alien of the United States and at least 18 years old to obtain a state license.

Program Length:

The program is approximately 2 1/2 weeks (40 hrs) long. Classes meet Monday through Thursday from 5:30pm-9:30pm.


Industry Certifications/State Credentials:

Obtainment Time Frame: Within 1 year of program completion
